We were blessed with two beautiful services on Sunday, January 26. In our 11 a.m. worship service we learned about "talking to ourselves" from Psalm 27, our had beautiful music from both our choir and our soloist. Our choir shared with us "the Summons" and guest singer Kristen Donaldson shared two solos -- "Amazing Grace" and "Come to Jesus."
And Sunday night at the Evening Service we started with homemade soup and cornbread -- a perfect choice from our nurture team. Thank to all the cooks! In the service we enjoyed our traditional fourth Sunday sing-a-long lead by Jerry Garrison, a great skit from our drama team, and then we were blessed by a sermonette from Larry Clayton. He gave us much to think about on the grace, love, and providence of God.
Looking ahead at this week -- the Aerobics for Seniors are exercising Monday & Thursday mornings. Our Bible Studies are on Tuesday, or at least we hope so. If the winter storm materializes we may have to study on our own at home! Handbell and Chancel Choir on Wednesday night. And the Prayer Group / Book Club is on Thursday night.
Call the church office (404-294-4063) for details on these special events coming up.

Grace & Peace, John Donaldson
